At Southern Response Services, service is at the core of who we are — not just on the job site, but in the communities we call home. This Thanksgiving season, we are honored to launch Project Outreach, a community initiative focused on giving thanks by giving back.
On the week of Thanksgiving, our team will come together to serve hot holiday meals to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in our local area. This outreach is more than a meal — it’s a moment of dignity, connection, and hope during a time of year when many feel forgotten.
With the help of a local catering partner, community donations, and our dedicated staff volunteers, we will be providing:
✅ Freshly prepared Thanksgiving meals
✅ Warm clothing essentials
✅ Personal care items
✅ Meaningful conversation & prayer (for those who desire it)
Our mission has always been built around people — those we employ, those we serve, and those who make up our community. We believe true leadership means lifting others up, and this initiative gives us a chance to do just that.
To everyone who has supported this effort — whether through donations, time, or prayer — thank you. Your generosity makes a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
How You Can Support Project Outreach
If you’d like to get involved, here are a few ways to help:
• Donate warm clothing items (jackets, gloves, beanies)
• Provide hygiene items (travel-size toiletries, hand warmers, socks)
• Contribute financially toward meals and supplies
• Share this mission with others who may want to support
Every contribution — big or small — helps fuel compassion in our community.
This Thanksgiving, we aren’t just giving thanks — we’re putting gratitude into action.
Because when we come together to serve one another, we build a stronger, kinder, and more connected community.
